The PR-85 Pioneer Aluminum Take-Up Reel seen in the photos has been sold separatly and is NOT INCLUDED. Price has been adjusted to reflect and the additional plastic reeles suplimented. I do have some personal stock aluminum reels if you are interested in purchasing separatly. I also have many plastic with some cool prerecorded material. if you are interested, feel free to send me a message. I will give the buyer of one of my reel players first priority as I am not looking to sell media indivually outside of helping a customer outfit their new vintage player.
The unit is in fine working condition, it has been serviced, cleaned, and well cared for. The directional lights have been replaced with green LED as they are prone to burn out if they have not already so no worries as the work is already done.
The rubber pinch roller is original and working fine and rubber is in proper condition. I did treat with rubber renue just to help condition and keep the rubber healthy for miles to come. Replacements are still easy to obtain and easy to replace for when that day comes.
The unit is sound in all directions, fwd, play, rwd, work perfectly. Tapes recorded on other machines may vary in quality, but the RT-707 has consistently played my tapes recorded from other decks better than most brands that tend to be a little more biased on where the tape was recoded. .
All buttons,, meters, & indicators work
Sound from both channels is brilliant (tape & recording quality dependent)
Recording and playback is superb
This is a multi-volt unit ( switchable for other regions)
 
Cosmetics:
There are a few light marks, but it still looks great. Please review all of the material provided.
