• This unit is properly serviced and fully functional.  It remains electronically original. The sound from the unit is free from distortion, hum, or intermittent breakup. 
• Output it matched on both channels.  
• Loudness circuit is intact and fully operational without any disturbing noise when activating the switch. Same goes for all other switches and attenuators. 
• All inputs are fully functional.  Phono is very good. 
• The face plate has been meticulously buffed to mirror finish.  There are only some small faint marks and as shown the face is beautiful. 
• The cabinet was recently painted,  it does have a couple of imperfections but over all very nice. 
• This is a very clean and beautiful looking and sounding unit. It is a fine representation of a collectable PAS-2 unit. 
• The sound is brilliant and remarkable for its age. I trust this preamp on my larger power amps running my hifi speakers with great reward.  
• In the video I do cover the attenuator having a jump in gain (equal channels) around the 1 o'clock position.  It has been on every PAS-2 unit I have owned. If your amplifier has gain controls then it will not be an issue if it does not, it is worth looking into especially if running sensitive speakers. There are new volume potentiometers available to easily remedy the issue, but on my system it is not much of an issue and just something more of note.
