Performance:
The Unit is in beautiful full working condition. Completed:
Recap of Power Supply/Relay Board. Partial capacitor replacement on tone board.
All controls and switched cleaned and lubed.
Troublesome switches were removed from board dissassembled, contacts polished/cleaned and reinstalled. Sometimes just deoxit doesnt do the trick so the extra mile was taken so you will be happy.
All inputs and outputs fully tested & functional.
DC Offset reset to spec. VU Lights upgraded to LED warm to match original incandescent look.
Cleaned Inside chassis and boards
The unit performs beautifully.
The KA-9100 is an amazing unit and several hours of skillful effort and dollars were put in to preserving this unit back to its original sound.
Parts: Only quality parts were used, Mainly Philips and Nichicon electrolytic capacitors ordered from Mouser in the last 30 days, no generic or old parts.
Main output packs are original and fully functional, Bias and DC offset are aligned to spec. Both Left and Right channels are matched.
 
Cosmetics:
Unit is very nice please review photos and demo video to judge for yourself.
There are very minor marks to the face and some of the knobs along with some scuffs on the heat sinks, but overall very very clean and beautiful!
The unit is free from damage and as mentioned very beautiful.
The top two piece cover was custom made with improved venting for better airflow & cooling.
The inside is very clean as is the outside. You will receive the actual unit pictured.
