Performance:
The MX110 in the photos is the unit you are buying. Included with the L12 original cabinet with factory box and working/mounted panloc hardware.
The preamp comes with all tubes, everything is fully functional and in great working condition.
The preamp spent its life protected in a custom enclosed stereo console until recently pulled and placed in the L12 cabinet we had been saving for a special piece such as this.
All switches, knobs, indicators, lights, etc work great. Power switch is fully functional.
The glass on the dial indicator screen is free from cracks or damage and print is fully intact.
Unit was carefully gone through, cleaned, lubed, during service.
The unit is near to all original meaning caps, resistors etc are all original. The unit performs beautifully, but it will be entirely up to the new owner to decide if they want to update the internals as there are different schools of thought, but electrolytic parts do loose value as they age. 
The sound from both channels is perfectly matched giving the classic McIntosh warmth with extraordinary clarity that makes listening to your favorite music an extra special affair.
 
 
Cosmetics:
The preamp and cabinet are very old, however it is hard to imagine something so well preserved and beautiful.
The unit is as beautiful as you see in the photos and free from any significant signs of wear with zero damage.
There is minimal to slight wear to the cabinet as it has short corners with less rounding that most considered above average as the cabinet has been preserved in its original box for a good portion of its life.
The face is beautiful as is the glass.
 
Details:
You can count on this treasure of a set to be properly packaged for safe transit. This includes, the preamp and cabinet packaged separately, each tube pulled and individually wrapped, and labeled, preamp double boxed and protected with dense foam and other soft fillers to provide protection against impact and offer more than ample absorption for the journey to its proud new owner.
Full insurance will be provided, along with tracking, and signature due at delivery.

This is a vintage piece that is promised to be delivered as advertised as we do give a 5 day DOA promise to allow for you to open and inspect the unit, however no returns for any other reasons beyond the items arriving not as advertised which the buyer would need to provide ample support for us to file an insurance claim prior to accepting a return. This includes the buyer keeping all packing materials and providing quality photos of packaging and damage to the unit to us to submit to the carrier.
