Pioneer SX-1980 Monster 270wpc Flagship Stereo Receiver Restored

[  ] Unit is in stock, currently on bench finishing restoration.  
[  ] Unit has received the aftermarket power supply board which is a vast improvement over the original which reduces heat and load on j-fet and circuit.  
[  ] All boards are receiving all new electrolytic capacitors, cleaned, inspected, solder reflowed as needed. Any areas or parts that have shown signs of heating or out of tolerance will be replaced. All parts are new high grade name brand, ordered from Mouser. Audio grade capacitors will be used on all audio path circuits. Audiophile upgrades such as WIMA Polypropylene Film will be used on smaller uf capacitors in audio path. 
[  ] Output devices are authentic and original.  Devices have been puked, cleaned, and re-mounted with new thermal compound and pads. 
[  ] Tuner aligned and in fantastic working order
[  ] All controls (pots & switches) removed and properly cleaned to insure no breakup, channel dropping,  or distortion due to carbon buildup.  
[  ] All lights serviced and working.  
[  ] Faceplate and knobs removed, cleaned and polished.  
[  ] This unit came missing original bonnet cover (cabinet) Currently a custom one is being built. 
[  ] The original power filter caps have been pulled and tested. These will be the only electrolytic caps left in the unit. If you prefer to have them replaced please message ahead for price. We will happily replace for cost of parts. Option is based on availability of parts.
