Realistic APM-100 Stereo Audio Output VU Meter - Passive

Cool little passive VU meters for stereos up to 100wpc.
Unit works perfectly.
Unit can be hooked up to high level output (speaker output) from amp/receiver. I used the Speaker B terminal for the box and Speaker A for my speakers.
The unit has internal passive (unit does not plug in to wall or require batteries) circuit to ensure no additional load or resistance is put on the amplifier.
Because it is a passive unit, the VU meters were not made to light up, however there are some ideas and instructions on the net to add LED backlights. I had considered doing this, but decided to leave it original.
It is not a very big box, so it may not meet someone's expectations wanting giant vu meters, but it is cool and fairly collectible. There is a lot of owner input on this box online if you search the model in your web browser. Some say online it was hard to hookup, I dissagree there, as it hooks up the same as a set of speakers. Maybe laugh at my comment after watching the video where I admit having the left and right hooked up backwards lol Definitly my mistake, but not due to being difficult.
Pros; If you are like me and constantly rotating gear or have a million things hooked up, I find it very helpful in troubleshooting intermitent audio drop issues. It lets me know if my audio loss is from the amp or somewhere down the line like speaker wire unplugges, etc. Simple, but helpful. It is also great for checking for left/right audio output is matched.
