Sansui AU-7700 Integrated Amplifier - Fantastic Amplifier!

Amplifier was just restored, all new predriver signal path transistors.  Original outputs pulled, tested, cleaned, new insulators and thermal compound applied. Rear terminal panel stripped down and resoldered (a must for this series) very costly repair if not already done as near complete disassembly required to do. Majority of electrolytic caps replaced with premium audiograde capacitors alongsignal path. All parts used were ordered directly from Mouser and premium parts. All transistors are modern proven upgraded replacements by Fairchild.  No generic nte or China parts used! End result is an amp that sounds as good as it did the day it was purchased! I also have an AU-7900, I will be keeping either the 7700 or 7900. They are very similar with the 7900 being more powerful,  but I use it more as a preamp so I am happy keeping either one.
