Unit is essentially the same as the X-700R, just older version. 
If you are needing any other components, amp, speakers, etc, let me know I am happy to put a bundle together and provide some discounts.

The Unit was just went through and serviced. 
All along the tape path was meticulously cleaned, inside cleaned capstan belt replaced, all controls cleaned and lubed.
Unit provides very clean audio from both Left/Right. 
VU meters work, lights work, no issues to report. 
Unit is beautifully kept and free from damage. Aside from some very light wear here and there (couple of small nicks, some small scratches, couple small wear marks on the buttons, but overall, again very well kept and beautiful inside and out. 
Only comment to pass along, one of the two bolts for the plastic tape head cover is missing. It is not a performance related issue, and the cover is perfectly fixed to the unit with just the one. Not a terribly hard part to track down, but just letting you know. 
The Aluminum Maxell take up reel I am included for free. It does have a couple of nicks, but is straight and looks and works good. 
I may have a few tapes I can include if needed and if you love the Boss, I may be willing to part with the tape in the demo. It is a copy, but very clean as you can here (scroll down down)
